This is a link to my real blog -- I can explain.
If I’ve ‘liked’ a post or followed you from here, consider it actually from the blog linked above; if you’re following me back, please do so on the linked blog. thesillygirlhides is a writing blog I started as a secondary blog after I already had a personal account — meaning I cannot ‘like,’ follow, reply to, or message any of the writers on tumblr through my writing blog, and it’s really aggravating. Also, it means my crush list was a weird combination of writers and political blogs and humor. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of deleting my personal or creating a new email address, but I also wanted my writing blog to remain anonymous and separate from my personal, which is known to my friends in real life. I wanted to keep the two worlds separate. So I bit the bullet and created a new account (this one) from which I can do all of the lovely things I’ve been dying to do but that would have made no sense coming from my completely eclectic and odd personal blog. This is totally roundabout and annoying and I would love it if tumblr could come up with a way for this to be unnecessary (and if you know of some existing way I haven’t thought of, please tell me!), but until then I’m stuck using this is kind of a backdoor.
